Alum Rock Park (one of California's oldest municipal parks)

Alum Rock Park, established in 1872, is one of California's oldest municipal parks and is listed as a California Historical Landmark. The park encompasses several hundred acres in the foothills east of downtown San Jose and is known for its mineral springs, historic picnic groves, and miles of hiking trails.
