Hooper Building

The Hooper Building, a historic structure in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, was completed in 1893 and designed by architect Samuel Hannaford in the Queen Anne style. Named after William Hooper, president of its first tenant, the John Church Company, this seven-story building features a distinctive facade with intricate limestone details. It is part of the West Fourth Street Historic District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2024, the building was purchased for conversion into a residential space, with plans to include 102 market-rate apartments and various amenities, set to open in 2026. This transformation highlights the ongoing revitalization of Cincinnati's historic architecture, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers.
