Sutro Baths ruins (Lands End)

Adolph Sutro opened the Sutro Baths in 1896 as a large public saltwater swimming complex. The baths closed mid-20th century and the main structure was destroyed by a fire in 1966, leaving concrete ruins that remain today. The site is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and the ruins sit below the Cliff House at Lands End.
