Campus Martius Park

Campus Martius Park serves as Detroit’s central public square and was redeveloped and reopened in 2004 as part of downtown revitalization efforts. The park features the Woodward Fountain, hosts seasonal programming including an outdoor ice-skating rink in winter, and is used for markets, concerts, and community events year-round. Its location at the foot of Woodward Avenue makes it a focal point for downtown pedestrian activity.
