Freedom Park – neighborhood urban park

Freedom Park is a large urban park located between the Myers Park and Dilworth neighborhoods centered around a man‑made lake and numerous athletic fields and walking trails. The park is widely used by Charlotte residents for daily recreation, community sports leagues, and neighborhood festivals. It is commonly referred to by locals as the city's 'Central Park' for its central role in community activities.
