Elisha Knight Homestead

The Elisha Knight Homestead, located at 170 Franklin Street in Stoneham, Massachusetts, is a historic house built around 1750. It is notable for being the only property from that era in Stoneham that maintains a rural setting. This two-story wood-frame house features modest decorations, with a notable entry hood added during a renovation around 1870, which also involved the alteration of its central chimney. The homestead was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, and its name was officially corrected in 2011.
