Holborn Bars

Holborn Bars, also known as the Prudential Assurance Building, is a striking Victorian structure located in Camden, London. Built between 1876 and 1901 in the Gothic Revival style, it was designed by renowned architect Alfred Waterhouse and his son. The building has undergone several modifications, including Art Deco enhancements in the early 1930s and a significant expansion in the 1990s. Once housing various amenities like a library and restaurant, it now features a courtyard named Waterhouse Square. The building is a Grade II* listed site, reflecting its architectural significance, and currently hosts a variety of tenants, including WeWork and consulting firms, making it a vibrant hub in the city.
