Washington Park MAX station inside the Robertson Tunnel

Washington Park station is an underground TriMet MAX light-rail station located adjacent to the Oregon Zoo and Washington Park. The station sits within the Robertson Tunnel, the rail tunnel that carries MAX beneath Portland's West Hills. The station is accessed by elevators from park level and is noted as one of the deeper transit stations in the United States. It provides direct underground access to several park attractions including the zoo and the International Rose Test Garden.
