Morgan-Bedinger-Dandridge House

The Morgan-Bedinger-Dandridge House, originally known as Poplar Grove, is a historic site located near Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Built around 1745 by Richard Morgan, the house underwent significant expansions in the early 19th century, notably by Daniel Morgan and later by Caroline Bedinger in 1859. The property has ties to notable figures, including Colonel Alexander R. Boteler, a Confederate officer and U.S. Representative, and poet Danske Bedinger Dandridge, who renamed the house to Rosebrake in 1877.
