Wardwell-Trickey Double House

The Wardwell-Trickey Double House, located at 97-99 Ohio Street in Bangor, Maine, is a historic two-family residence built in 1836. Notable for being one of the least-altered early duplex brick houses in the area, it showcases a unique architectural style rarely seen outside Bangor. The house features a 2+1⁄2-story brick structure with distinct five-bay fronts and retains much of its original interior woodwork and hardware, including Greek Revival elements. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, it offers a glimpse into 19th-century residential design and is a significant example of Bangor's architectural heritage.
