Millennium Complex

The Millennium Complex, located in Plymouth, England, is a historic building originally opened in 1931 as the Gaumont Palace cinema. Designed in the art deco style, it featured a large single screen and hosted various entertainment forms over the decades, including a dance hall and night club. After closing in 2004, the site faced several redevelopment attempts, including plans for residential flats and a conference center, which ultimately fell through. In 2020, it was acquired by a community-focused partnership aiming to transform it into business units for small manufacturers and a music venue, highlighting its ongoing evolution and significance in the local culture.
