Main Building (Vassar College)

The Main Building at Vassar College, located in Poughkeepsie, New York, is a historic landmark and the oldest building on campus, constructed in 1861 by architect James Renwick Jr. in the Second Empire style. As one of the earliest and most significant examples of this architectural style in the U.S., it was once the largest building in the country by interior space, accommodating all college functions.
