Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi

The Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, located in Thrissur, India, is a prestigious institution dedicated to the promotion of music, dance, theatre, and traditional art forms. Established on April 26, 1958, by then Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the academy honors outstanding contributions in the arts through various awards, including the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Fellowship and the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Award. In addition to its activities in India, the academy also initiated a cultural center in Bahrain in 2010, showcasing its commitment to the global promotion of Kerala's rich artistic heritage.
