Fenway Studios

Fenway Studios, located at 30 Ipswich Street in Boston, Massachusetts, is a historic artists' studio building designed in the Arts and Crafts style. Built in 1905 after a devastating fire at Harcourt Studios, it features 46 studios with north light, large windows, and high ceilings, making it an ideal workspace for artists. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1998, it is notable for being the only artist studio building designed with input from artists that remains in use today. Over the years, it has been home to many prominent Boston artists and has even inspired fictional narratives in literature. Despite facing financial challenges in the 1970s, a dedicated group of artists helped preserve the studios, which now house over 40 artists working in various media.
