Bechtler Museum of Modern Art

The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art opened in 2010 to display the Bechtler family's collection of mid-20th-century modern art. Its holdings include works by artists such as Alberto Giacometti, Joan Miró, and Alexander Calder. The museum building was designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta and is located in the Levine Center for the Arts in Uptown Charlotte.
