Compass Bank Building (Albuquerque)

The Compass Bank Building, originally known as the National Building, is a notable high-rise office structure located at 505 Marquette Avenue NW in Downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed in 1966, it was the tallest building in the state until 1990 and currently stands as the third tallest at 238 feet (73 m) with 18 stories. The building features a unique architectural design by William E. Burk, Jr., characterized by its Moorish-inspired concrete patterns and recessed windows. The lower six floors serve as a parking garage, while the upper levels provide office space, making it a significant landmark in Albuquerque's skyline.
