Old Red Museum - historic Dallas County Courthouse building

The Old Red Museum occupies the former Dallas County Courthouse, a Romanesque Revival building constructed in 1892 notable for its red sandstone and terracotta exterior. The restored building now functions as the Dallas County History & Culture Center (commonly called the Old Red Museum) with permanent and rotating exhibits about local history. The courthouse was rehabilitated and reopened as a museum and cultural site in the 21st century to preserve and interpret county history.
