Martin and Kibby Blocks

The Martin and Kibby Blocks are historic Victorian Gothic buildings located in downtown Lima, Ohio, constructed in 1884. These three-story brick structures feature distinctive architectural elements such as brick pilasters, stone lintels, and decorative corbelling. Their construction coincided with the discovery of petroleum in the area, contributing to Lima's rapid growth during that period. In 1982, they were added to the National Register of Historic Places, highlighting their architectural significance alongside other notable buildings in the city.
