Oxford Chambers

Oxford Chambers is a historic Grade II listed building in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, constructed in 1875. Originally intended as a commercial property, it became the town's first higher grades school in 1880 before relocating in 1889. The building features a notable sign for the 'Central Cigar Depot' and has housed various businesses over the years, including an office supplies shop. It is particularly recognized for its connection to the former Travellers Rest social club.
