Northern Indiana Gas and Electric Company Building

The Northern Indiana Gas and Electric Company Building, also referred to as the Roma Building, is a historic site in South Bend, Indiana. Constructed in 1915, this three-story brick structure is notable for its distinctive pink terra cotta exterior and elegant architectural details, including a projecting cornice adorned with brackets and modillions. Although it was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, it was delisted in 2012. This building reflects the early 20th-century commercial architecture of the region, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
