Originally purchased by Methodist preacher Hubbard Saunders, the property has a rich history involving several generations, including notable figures like Cornelius Weistling Callender, who contributed to local education. The mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1992, is currently a horse farm, offering a glimpse into the region's historical legacy.
