General German Protestant Orphans Home

The General German Protestant Orphans Home, also known as the Pleasant Run Children's Home, is a historic orphanage in Indianapolis, Indiana, designed by architect Diedrich A. Bohlen and built between 1871 and 1872. This 2+1⁄2-story brick building features eclectic German vernacular detailing and unique roof forms.
