Parkland Memorial Hospital-pronouncements of JFK and Lee Harvey Oswald

Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas is where President John F. Kennedy was taken and officially pronounced dead on November 22, 1963, after he was fatally shot in Dealey Plaza. Two days later, Lee Harvey Oswald was brought to Parkland after being shot by Jack Ruby and was pronounced dead there on November 24, 1963. The hospital continues to be the major trauma center in Dallas and retains historical records and exhibits related to those events.
