Heurich House Museum (Brewmaster's Castle)

The Heurich House Museum at this address was built for brewer Christian Heurich in 1892–1894 and remains one of the most intact late-Victorian homes in Washington, D.C. The museum preserves original furnishings, decorative arts, and business records relating to the Heurich Brewing Company. Located in Dupont Circle, it is a specialized house museum that receives fewer visitors than the city's major cultural institutions.
