Burton Barr Central Library - Phoenix Public Library central branch

Burton Barr Central Library is the central branch of the Phoenix Public Library system and opened in its current Midtown building in 1995. The multi-level library houses the Arizona Room, a local history and genealogy collection, as well as public meeting spaces, art installations, and extensive research and lending collections. The building's design and public programs make it a civic and cultural hub in downtown Phoenix.
