About Locory Requests
A Locory request is a way to ask the community to help add or identify a place that is not yet available on the map.
When to use a Locory request
- You know a place should exist on the map, but you do not have enough information to submit it as a full Locory yet.
- You want help from other users to confirm a location or identify the best matching place.
- You want to signal that a place is missing so it can be reviewed and fulfilled later.
What to include in a good request
- A clear title that describes what you are looking for.
- A map location that is as close as possible to the place in question.
- A short description with any details that could help someone confirm or create the Locory.
How requests differ from Locories
A Locory is a confirmed place entry on the map. A request is a call for help or a placeholder for something that still needs more information.
Once enough information is available, a request can lead to a proper Locory being submitted or selected to fulfill it.
