Editing a Locory

Editing is the right choice when a Locory is valid but some details need improvement.

When to edit instead of report
  • The place is real, but the wording can be improved.
  • The map pin needs a more accurate location.
  • The description is incomplete or outdated.
  • Useful details are missing and can be corrected directly.
Good edits
  • Clarifying the title or description.
  • Fixing the location.
  • Improving details so other users can understand the place more easily.
  • Updating outdated information when the Locory still belongs on the map.
When a report is better

If the entry is spam, a duplicate, misleading, inappropriate, or should not be on the map at all, report it instead of trying to fix it with an edit.
